We’re Pregnant!

Hopefully you will have seen on one of my many social media channels by now or from one of the pregnancy updates I’ve been sneaking in that we are expecting baby number two!

I’m currently fourteen weeks pregnant and I still don’t think it has properly sunk in yet as I have not put on any weight and the horrible symptoms of the first trimester have totally dissipated.

I am so excited to share this next part of our family’s journey with you. I’ll keep you updated with weekly bumpdates, share with you what we are going to be buying and reusing and most exciting of all the newborn days to come! I hadn’t yet started blogging when I was pregnant with Dexter so this is something that is so special for me. I love that I will have this little blog to remind me of this pregnancy journey!

Baby Two is due on December 20th 2018 and we are hoping for a nice early entry into the world considering that big brother Dexter started making an appearance two days before his due date!

Talking of big brother Dexter, he seems to be quite excited that his world is about to completely change forever and has enjoyed giving ‘baba’ in my belly the odd stroke and kiss. We got him a little baby brother Annabell doll to practise being gentle to, however he attempted to post it through the letterbox, so I think we will have to keep persevering with that one!

Check out the pregnancy updates I’ve posted so far here and make sure you are following me on Instagram for all the latest, up to date pregnancy news!

I’m so excited for you guys! Can’t wait to follow your pregnancy. Although if you give birth early then I’ll question your commitment to this pregnancy, everyone knows 42 weeks is where it’s at!

[…] We found out we were expecting in April and the first person I told after I showed my husband the positive pregnancy test was Dexter. I have always been of the mindset that we should be as open and honest with Dexter as possible and didn’t believe this situation should be any different. […]
