Up until now, we have mainly clothed Dex with bits and pieces that have been given as gifts or I purchased randomly in the Next sale when he was a newborn. I guess while I was on maternity pay, I just bought anything that was a good price. Now that he is approaching 1 year old, I wanted to get some really nice bits and pieces for his wardrobe. He is no longer a squishy baby who is dressed in sleepsuits and joggers all day long- he needs cute and stylish bits to complement his personality.
Where else to start but at H&M? I adore their style and love their Conscious range which uses sustainable and environmentally friendly materials that are ethically sourced. Here is my H&M Baby Haul.
We are shortly off on holiday to Majorca for a few days, and although Dex already had a couple of pairs of swim shorts, I couldn’t resist picking these up as well. They are a bargain at only £2.99 and I love the bright turquoise colour.
We are massive fans of hoodies in this house so I couldn’t let Dex be the odd one out. This grey hoody is soft and comfy and will provide warmth on those colder summer days and nippy evenings. I chose grey so it would go with a wide range of outfits. Plus he can twin with me and my grey hoodie! This is a steal at £7.99
There’s nothing I love more than a baby in leggings and these charcoal ones are just perfection. even better, they’re from H&M’s Conscious range so I know they’re ethically sourced. He’s going to be rocking these with so many cool outfits! Even better, these cost only £2.99.
I am a massive fan of the nautical look, so I had to buy these navy leggings with anchor print. These will go perfectly with a white vest and a striped bandana bib. I can’t wait for him to wear them.
Ahh, the trusty denim shirt. Perfect with a pair of leggings and a vest – for mum and for baby! This retails at £8.99.
Another pair of Conscious leggings, this time grey with alphabet print. I do love grey as it goes with most other items in the wardrobe.
This is a long sleeved lightweight top with a gorgeous light turquoise colour. I adore the pocket detail on the front. Again, this feels very seaside-y/nautical and will look great down the beach with his swim shorts.
Is there anything cuter than a polo shirt on a baby? Perhaps one with anchors on it? Another piece to add to my nautical collection. This will look gorgeous with a pair of dark grey jeans and a lot of attitude.
These navy chino shorts are going to be used and abused this summer. they have a gorgeous light blue lining which peaks out of the legs when they are rolled up. These will look incredible with so many different tops AND a pair of cool sunglasses.
All in all, I spent less than £50 and am so pleased with everything we got. The quality feels fantastic and I know these pieces will be used again and again.

I’ve got major wardrobe envy now! I’ve not checked out H&M baby since pre-baby times (ha!) and had forgotten how lovely their stuff is – and affordable!!
