I know it is still August, but my mind is already looking ahead to the autumn and wintery days to come. The nights are quickly drawing in and with it comes visions of curling up on the sofa in a dressing gown with the heating on and a hot chocolate warming my hands after a hard day at work. We are coming up to our busiest time of the year in my business- Christmas. The Season of Goodwill starts for us postal workers at the end of September when the first of the last posting dates deadlines passes. From then on, it does not hold up for a moment in the world of parcels, Christmas cards and stamps.
While I’m busy at work, Dexter will be starting at a childminders this September and one of the reasons I chose this particular childminder is her commitment to taking the kids out every single day. With this is mind, Dex’s 18-24 month autumn and winter wardrobe is becoming less about style and more about warmth and comfort during the blustery months to come. Like every other parent of a tiny human, I am obsessed by shopping for baby and toddler clothes and love nothing more than spending an hour or two scrolling through website after website to find good value bits for my boy. Esprit is one of the retailers I adore; here is my wishlist from their current collection.
I love a good pair of skinny jeans and Dexter totally suits them. This pair will go well with anything so he can look super stylish AND feel comfortable due to the softness of this particular denim.
I adore stripes and practically live in them myself when I am not in work. I am a massive fan of the nautical look and stripes just look so trendy and cool. This particular top would be an absolute staple in Dex’s wardrobe and I’d probably be pretty tempted to get a few of them!
No winter wardrobe is complete without a gilet and this one is an absolute stunner! The colours looks so great together and what’s more, it is padded bringing warmth and comfort alongside style.
I am starting to become a little bit obsessed with buying coats and jackets for Dex- he seems to have more than me and his Dad put together. This bright orange number is just going to look so great in October/November during the pumpkin season and Bonfire night. I love that the hood can be detached as well giving the coat an altogether different feel.
I love the colours of these mittens which go perfectly with the two tone gilet above. It’s so important to keep those little hands warm during the autumn and winter months!
Ahh, tank tops are soo cute on toddlers! I love dressing Dex up as if he is a small adult and this tank top fits the bill perfectly.
What are your favourite shops to find gorgeous bits for your little ones?
