Christmas is quickly approaching and this year I am sort of taking a complete head in the sand attitude towards it as I am well aware that this baby is due days before the big day itself. Unfortunately, having a two year old toddler who is suddenly well aware of what Halloween is, and will no doubt be well aware of Father Christmas and the gifts that come along with the mythical man, as the days towards Christmas draw ever closer, means that I’m not going to be able to ignore Christmas completely this year.
I am one of those millennial types who does all of her shopping online. I think it’s a mixture of working in retail, working full time and having the rest of my time caught up trying to tame a toddler, but there is no way in hell you will catch me doing Christmas shopping on a high street or in a shopping mall. I dread the crowds, the marked up prices and the queues. At least this year I have an excuse to avoid the Trafford Centre and Liverpool One.
Shopping online for me, has so many perks: using Topcashback to get a bit of money back, the prices seem lower for lots of things. finding unique and personalised gifts and discovering small businesses who you can support.
This year I’ve discovered Just Love Gifts who are based in the Midlands and offer a huge range of personalised gifts perfect for family and friends.
They asked me to pick a couple of gifts to showcase on the blog and I pretty selfishly chose two things I could enjoy instead of sharing the festive spirit by ordering things for the family. Sorry fam!
Firstly, I chose this personalised Make Up Brush Holder. During my last pregnancy and subsequent newborn days, I stopped treating myself to make up, but that won’t be happening this time and I needed a home for my many hundreds of make up brushes. This holder is made of solid ceramic and is an extremely sturdy addition to my dressing table. The personalisation makes this gift a little bit more fun and I love the font they use.
The next gift I chose were these personalised Mummy and Me Coffee and Catch Up Mugs. I am loving this time of year, when the nights draw in and all you want to do is cuddle up on the sofa with a hot chocolate, the fire on and the sound of fireworks banging in the distance. These ceramic mugs would be the perfect gift for any Mummy who has a cherished toddler in her life and I can’t wait to use them during our precious Mummy and toddler time.
So, if you’re looking for gorgeous personalised this gifts this Christmas (or beyond!) be sure to check out Just Love Gifts and tag me on Instagram with the gorgeous gifts you buy.
