Description

Ditch the tins and can of baked beans and make homemade baked beans for babies. Using only a few staple ingredient, you can make healthy and nutritious baked beans for your baby in minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • one can of haricot beans (drained)
  • 500 grams passata
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • knob of butter
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • 100ml water

Instructions

  1. Grab a saucepan and add a little knob of butter. Heat on the hob on medium heat and once melted, add the minced garlic and fry for a minute, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn.
  2. Add in the tablespoon of tomato puree, black pepper and stir for another 30 seconds, ensuring it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Pour in the passata and water and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, then add the drained beans.
  4. Simmer for a further 10 minutes or so, or until you reach the desired consistency.
