Description

This banana eggy bread baby for babies recipe uses a banana alongside the usual ingredients to create a slightly different eggy bread recipe your baby will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small banana
  • splash whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 slices bread (I like to remove crusts, but this is optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mash a banana with the back of your fork (or if not very ripe, use a blender to puree). Crack in an egg, a splash of milk, vanilla extract and whisk thoroughly until frothy.
  2. Soak the slices of bread into the banana and egg mixture, one slice at a time. Meanwhile heat the butter in a frying pan on medium heat.
  3. Add the bread and cook on each side for a couple of minutes. Remove from the heat, slice into three fingers and allow to cool fully before serving to baby.
