Description

A simple & quick BLW recipe for baby led weaning blueberry waffles which can be enjoyed by the whole family as a breakfast/snack. Share these blueberry waffles with your toddler, older baby or young kids.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 75 grams blueberries
  • 250 grams flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 350ml milk
  • 15g melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, melted butter, egg, milk and whisk until smooth.
  2. Blend or finely chop the blueberries and fold into the batter mix.
  3. Use a ladle to spoon the mixture (which should be relatively runny) onto the waffle maker. (One ladle will make approximately one waffle depending on the size of your waffle maker)
  4. Cook on the waffle maker for 8 minutes, or until it is starting to brown.
  5. Repeats steps three and four until the mixture is all used up.
