A category containing all the different types of craft we have tried with our babies and toddlers.

We absolutely love to craft and like to try different crafts based on the seasons and time of the year. We particularly love autumnal and Christmas crafts as it facilitates a need to get outside and collect fun objects to use in our craft making.

Crafting is great for kids of any age and we started crafting with Dexter when he was really young- probably only a few months old. It aids in developing gross motor skills and develops children’s patience, understanding of sharing and promotes language development too.

Dexter can spend hours and hours painting or creating different things independently and it certainly a hobby we wish to encourage and help him with as he becomes even more adept with a paintbrush.
