One of the most common complaints I hear from women after they’ve had a baby is how unhappy they are with their appearance, most notably, their weight.

When I was pregnant with Dexter, I put on four stone and I had serious concerns about how I’d be able to lose all of that excess weight. Many people will tell you that breastfeeding your baby and running after them when they start crawling will help you shed the pounds, but for many, this just doesn’t happen.

Joining a weight losing club like Slimming World or Weight Watchers is an option, but many people don’t have the motivation to stick to a rigid food plan and for those people there is the option of surgical and non surgical treatments.

CoolSculpting is a non surgical procedure which uses the technology of Cryolipolysis which is a method of fat freezing. The method eliminates fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue and cells by targeting certain areas. Fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than other cells, so as they are being targeted, they die and eventually your body eliminates them, leaving your body more sculpted.

Which areas of your body can be targeted by the Coolsculpting Procedure?

  • Thighs
  • Chin
  • Belly
  • Back
  • Love handles / muffin top
  • Under the bum

What else do I need to know?

  • As it’s a non surgical treatment, normal activities can be resumed straight after treatment meaning there’s no downtime.
  • Each area takes around one hour to treat meaning you can have the fat freezing procedure done in London during your lunch break.
  • The treatment is relatively painless. The first few minutes can feel uncomfortable before the area fully numbs, it feels intensely cold with a pulling sensation, but this soon disappears.
