Description
A delicious and healthy pumpkin soup for babies that adults can enjoy alongside their little ones. The perfect little lunch time treat – simple to make and yummy too!
Ingredients

- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 400 grams pumpkin (peeled and chopped into small chunks)
- 600ml water
- 1 tbsp stock powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Peel and halve an onion. Finely chop one half and add to a large saucepan along with the oil.
- Grate a clove of garlic and add to the saucepan. Fry for a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, peel and chop up your pumpkin into cubes.
- Add to the saucepan and then cover with water (around 600ml)
- Bring to the boil, then simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add pepper to taste and then blend with a hand blender until thick and creamy.
- Make sure soup is cooled fully before offering to baby.
