- 150 grams of sweet potato (small – medium sized sweet potato)
- 1 egg
- 50 grams flour
- 1 tsp cumin (optional)
- 1 tsp onion powder (optional)
Instructions
- Grate the sweet potato into a bowl, add egg, flour and spices (if using) and combine until thoroughly mixed.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan and let the pan heat up. Turn the heat down once hot.
- Using a table spoon, spoon the mixture into the frying pan, creating small patties, flatten them with the back of the spoon.
- Fry for four minutes on each side (or until browned).
- Once cooked, leave to cool before serving to baby. Serve them as they are or cut into strips for easy handling.
