Description

Discover this delicious and nutritious blueberry oat bites baby led weaning recipe. Perfect to share with the whole family!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • handful of blueberries
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 banana

Instructions

  1. Melt the coconut oil gently in the microwave until it becomes liquid
  2. Blitz the oats in the food processor until it becomes oatmeal
  3. In a bowl add oats, a mashed banana, milk, coconut oil, chia seeds and a handful of blueberries
  4. Combine thorough and mash a little with a fork to squish the blueberries
  5. Preheat the oven to 170C and line a muffin tin with silicone muffin cases.
  6. Use a teaspoon to scoop up the oaty mixture and use your hands to roll into a ball.
  7. Place all twelve balls in each individual muffin case and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  8. The balls should be soft when you remove from the oven, but will harden slightly upon cooling.
  9. Leave to cool completely before serving to your baby.
