Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 40 grams spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 10 grams finely grated cheese
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add one egg, finely grated cheddar and black pepper. Mix together with a whisk or a fork.
  2. Boil your kettle, add your spinach to a colander and pour water over until wilted.
  3. Run the cold water tap over the spinach and then squeeze out the excess water before chopping finely with a sharp knife or cutting with scissors.
  4. Add the spinach to the egg and combine thoroughly with a fork.
  5. Heat a non-stick frying pan on medium heat and prep with cooking spray.
  6. Pour in the egg mixture, keeping the egg from running off with a spatula.
  7. Cook for around 2 minutes, then carefully use the spatula to lift the sides and flip the omelette over. Cook for a further minute.
  8. Transfer to a plate and slice into strip. Leave to cool completely before serving to your baby.
