Description

Incredibly delicious cheese and bacon puffs that are perfect for kids' lunchboxes or for a snack on the go! Stuffed full of yummy cheese and bacon, these puffs will have you begging for more!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 60 grams cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 4 rashers bacon
  • 1/2 ready to roll puff pastry sheet
  • dash milk

Instructions

    1. Pre heat your oven to 200C (180C fan) and line a baking tray with baking paper or foil
    2. Chop the bacon into small chunks using scissors and fry until nearly crispy.
    3. Unroll the puff pastry and carefully cut the sheet in half. Roll up the other half and save in the fridge to make something else.
    4. From the sheet you're using, slice out squares using a sharp knife.
    5. Add cooked bacon and cheese to each square, then take each corner of the pastry and fold them into the middle so they meet and stick.
    6. Carefully brush milk over the exposed pastry and place the rolls on the baking tray.
    7. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until golden brown
    8. Leave to cool before removing from the baking tray, carefully using a spatula.
