Spinach Bites for Babies

Description

A super simple recipe to create spinach bites for babies. Your baby will love eating this yummy and healthy finger food!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 160g spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 30g cheese
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Fill a kettle and boil water and preheat oven to 200C (180 fan)
  2. Measure the spinach into a colander and when the kettle is boiled, pour the hot water over the spinach until wilted
  3. Rinse cold water over the top and then place the colander above the bowl and squeeze excess water out
  4. Finely chop the spinach using a sharp knife or scissors
  5. In another bowl, add spinach, breadcrumbs, grated cheese and egg
  6. Combine thoroughly
  7. Prep a baking tray with baking paper and use an ice cream scoop or table spoon to measure out the bites using your hands to roll them into a circular shape
  8. Bake on the top shelf in the oven for 20 minutes
  9. Leave to cool completely before servings to baby
