We were recently asked to review a bracelet set from itshandmade.co.uk, I was over the moon because it has been so long since I’ve received a lovely bit of jewellery and worn anything other than just my engagement and wedding rings. I guess when you have a baby who is super interested in every tiny detail, wearing a bracelet or necklace just causes more harm than good. (Harm to my patience as I battle with him to get off my neck!)
The Mummy and Me bracelet set retails for £20.00 on the itshandmade website and comes in a range of colours including baby pink, turquoise, black, kahki, red, yellow, orange, purple, lilac, baby blue and stone. Each bracelet comes with an attached heart pendant which you personalise with your child’s name. The Mummy bracelet says ‘XX loves Mummy’ and the child’s bracelet says ‘Mummy loves XX’.
I chose a turquoise coloured band as I wanted something that was gender neutral. I am a big fan of teal and turquoise, and Dexter’s pram is the same shade. I think the colour can be used for both boys and girls without being too boyish or girly.
The elasticated cord can be loosened and tightened to fit even the smallest of wrists (or ankles in our case) but be careful because the sliding knot easily comes loose!
I absolutely adore this bracelet set and can’t wait to show it off when I go back to work next week.
