BLW // Chicken Arrabiata Recipe

I want to make more tea time meals that we can share as a family, so when I was given the opportunity to review Cirio tomatoes, I grabbed it with both hands.

For a long time after the clocks went back, Dexter wanted to go to sleep before 5pm, but he has slowly got into the habit of staying up later and now we can eat tea together as a family.

This Chicken Arrabiata pasta is warming and absolutely delicious.

I started by adding a tablespoon of olive oil to a frying pan and adding long strips of chicken. I cooked the chicken slowly with some pepper for a minute or two before pouring in a tub of Cirio’s Finely Chopped Tomatoes with Basil. I let the chicken cook in the tomato sauce which I find makes the chicken much softer so chew.

While the chicken was cooking, I cooked some fusilli pasta according to the pack instructions.

The chicken takes about 20 minutes to cook and at the end I threw in some grated cheese to make the sauce a little creamier.

I drained the pasta and mixed it with the tomato sauce then served in two bowls for my husband and I. I put around eight spirals of pasta and three pieces of chicken on Dexter’s high chair and let him tuck in.

He had a good suck on the chicken and enjoyed eating the pasta. I thought this was going to be a really messy meal so I stripped him down to his nappy but he only ended up with sauce around his mouth and on his hands. I was pleasantly surprised.
