Mummy to Dex turns one year old today and what a year it has been.
My first post was written on 21st September 2016 and was titled, ‘How I Got Naptimes to Work for Us‘. I had no idea about social media promotion, SEO, pods, blogging cliques or Twitter chats. I wrote just to give me something to do.
Since I went self hosted (which was a little more than a month after I started blogging), I have had:
45,817 unique visitors to my blog.
103,532 page views.
My post popular post has been ‘Sweet Potato Veggie Burgers‘ with 17,659 views.
My biggest referrer has been Pinterest with 24,695 referrals.
Most of the blog visitors come from the UK, 17,389 of them to be exact.
My total social media following has grown to 8,935.
Who knew when I started this little blog one year ago how it would grow? I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing brands and even make some money. Best of all, I have made some amazing friends who have helped me so much along the way.
It’s not always been plain sailing though. Some days I have wanted to jack it all in. When I returned to work in May, I had no idea how I’d be able to keep up with writing and photographing, but somehow I made things work.
Here is to another year of blogging!
