Pregnancy Diary: Week 11

This week has well and truly passed by in the blink of an eye due to me starting my new job. Not only do the days seem to go really fast when you move branches, but due to me now having Fridays instead of Wednesdays off, the week seemed to pass by even quicker.

I’ve kind of been too busy to notice any pregnancy symptoms this week which has been incredible: no dizziness, no nausea and no vomiting! Of course, I then stared panicking that maybe there’s something wrong with the baby, but I’ve tried to keep in positive spirits.

I’ve been eating really well this week and more than ever (think four meals a day PLUS snacks) but I still weigh the same on the scales. My belly does bloat if I have too many fizzy drinks but on the whole my body is very much the same and I think it’s going to be a big shock to a lot of people to hear I’m pregnant as I am so slim.

It’s now only one more day until our scan and I am super excited to start telling people as long as everything is okay. It feels like we have kept this secret for so long, but in reality it’s been around two months. We are planning on telling family first, then work colleagues before announcing on Facebook. I’ve been spending a lot of time this week looking at cute announcement photos and we’d love to get Dexter involved in our pregnancy reveal, the only problem is: will a toddler play ball?
