Puff Pastry Pizza Rolls

Looking for a new way to make baby led weaning pizza? Look no further than these puff pastry pizza rolls. Yummy pinwheels with a pizza-infused twist. We absolutely love them!

Made with stringy mozzarella (can easily be substituted for cheddar if that’s all you have on hand though!), sharp tomato puree and yummy pepperoni, you’ll be absolutely blown away with the deliciousness of these snacky pizza rolls.

Do you need any special equipment to make this recipe?

Nope! All that you need is:

No need for a rolling pin or other complicated equipment in order to make your own puff pastry – just buy the ready rolled sheets – trust us – it’ll make life 10x easier!

How to make puff pastry pizza rolls

  • Pre heat your oven to 200C (180C fan) and line a baking tray with baking paper or foil
  • Chop the sliced pepperoni into small chunks using scissors – we like the pack you can buy in Tesco for £1.
  • Unroll the puff pastry and carefully cut the sheet in half – save the other half for another recipe such as these bacon and cheese puffs
  • Dollop tomato puree across the pastry and then spread out evenly with the back of your spoon
  • Spread the cheese and pepperoni equally across the puff pastry sheet
  • Carefully roll the puff pastry sheet to create a log shape, then carefully cut into round around 2cm thick.
  • Carefully brush milk over the exposed pastry and place the rolls on the baking tray.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown
  • Leave to cool before removing from the baking tray, carefully using a spatula

Incredibly delicious puff pastry pizza rolls that are perfect for kids' lunchboxes or for a snack on the go! Stuffed full of yummy cheese and pepperoni, these rolls will have you begging for more!

  • 60 grams cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 50 grams pepperoni
  • tomato puree

  • dried italian herbs
  • dried garlic granules
  • dash milk
